Description of Village Auchtertool is a small village in The Kingdom of Fife with approximately 180 houses, Nursing Home and Primary school. We have a Pub called the Kiwi Tavern serving good Pub Food. Auchtertool, winner of "The Best Kept Small Village" silver award, is situated 4 miles from Kirkcaldy, Our nearest town Kirkcaldy, with a population of 50 thousand, has a host of excellent facilities, Theatres, Shops, Leisure Facilities, Restaurants, Coffee Shops and lots more. We are very centrally situated for touring Scotland, easy access for all main distributor roads, M90 and A92, an ideal base for exploring the central belt and access to many activities.
